Ramen Egg

Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sake
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 garlic clove crushed or ground
- 2 star anise
Cooking Instructions
- Boil pot of water, add eggs, and let boil for 6.5 minutes exactly
- Let cool immediately in cold, ice water to stop eggs from cooking
- Peel eggs
- Mix marinade, add eggs, and marinate for at least 12 hours, up to 2 days
